SNAP JUDGMENT

April 11, 1967 - March 28, 1969
NBC Daytime Game Show - 509 Episodes

Hosts:
Ed McMahon
Gene Rayburn

Announcer:
Johnny Olsen

Two contestants wrote word associations for a list
of words before the day's program began, and their
celebrity partners tried to guess those words for
cash prizes. The celebrity had three chances to
guess the word for ten points. If he or she did
not, the opposing celebrity player had a chance
to steal the points with one guess. If neither
celebrity guessed correctly, the first letter of
the concealed word was revealed and both celebrities
received a chance to buzz in with an answer. The
winning team of the day had a chance to win $500
playing the "Big Five," where the contestant had
to guess the word associations of his or her
celebrity partner.
