From the outset, thirtysomethings Carrie, Samantha,
Miranda and Charlotte vow to enhance their sex lives
by behaving as men--having sex freely without guilt.
A sex columnist covering New York nightlife. Carrie scopes
out the singles scene and writes about loving and living
in the city that never sleeps but always sleeps around.
Of course, the "sex"periences among her circle of
friends usually make the sexiest stories.
Miranda is a corporate lawyer for a powerful Manhattan firm
who works 16-hour days and defines herself by her success.
She's not afraid to speak her mind, but she knows that
having a smart mouth isn't always a wise move.
Samantha is a public relations consultant who never has a
problem drawing a crowd or attracting attention - especially
the male kind. She puts the "pro" in promotion and always
"spins" to win. She knows how to create a buzz
and make a lasting impression.
Charlotte is an art gallery dealer whose impeccable taste
attracts a wealthy and worldly clientele. Charlotte has an
eye for the best and an irresistible charm that can close
a sale in a second. Whether throwing a champagne reception
or hosting a private showing, Charlotte is always a class act.
