Cast: Graham Chapman John Cleese Terry Gilliam Eric Idle Terry Jones Michael Palin Carol Cleveland Connie Booth Lyn Ashley Peter Brett Ian Davidson Rita Davies Neil Innes Bob Raymond Donna Reading Katy Wayech Dick Vosburgh An absolutely meaningless title; tasteless, uneven,
and insane material; men in female drag; glamorous
women in various stages of undress; language not
normally heard in American television programs; and
sexually provacative animation--all of which is
ingeniously interwoven into a highly intellectual
and entertaining program.
Produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation,
which first began airing it 1969 as an answer to
America's "Laugh-In," it is created by five men,
all graduates of Oxford or Cambridge, who use live
action and animation to achieve comedic results.
An American artist provides the extremely lifelike
animation. Whether enjoyable or not rests
solely with the individual.
