King Of The Hill is an animated comedy series from
the fevered minds of Mike Judge, the creator of
"Beavis and Butt-Head," and Greg Daniels, co-executive
producer of "The Simpsons." This offbeat series tells
often-hilarious stories about Hank Hill, his family
and their neighbors in the fictional suburb of
Arlen, Texas, the heartland of America.

A hard-working, loyal family man and proud Texan, Hank
is assistant manager of Strickland Propane. He's a
blue-collar Everymanwho sees himself as the voice of
common sense and reason in a world of incompetent sales
clerks, meddling bureaucrats and do-good liberals.

Hank's Rock of Gibraltar is his wife Peggy. Peggy is
Arlen's version of Susan Sontag: substitute Spanish
teacher, fast-pitch softball hurler, local Boggle
champion and notary public. Hank and Peggy's pride and
joy is their 12-year-old son, Bobby. They would have
liked a bigger family, but Hank has a narrow urethra.

The household is completed by Hank's nubile 18-year-old
niece, Luanne. Luanne's staying with the Hills because,
by the by, her mother is in prison for stabbing her
father with a fork in a beer dispute. Hank is the
undisputed alpha male among his neighborhood buddies,
Dale, Bill and Boomhauer. Dale's an exterminator who
never met a conspiracy he didn't like, but is ironically
unaware that his wife has been cheating on him for 12
years. Bill's a lonely-hearted Army barber with low
self-esteem. And Boomhauer is a cool, rockabilly, muscle-
car-driving ladies' man who speaks unintelligible English.

Most episodes, you'll find Hank and the boys drinking
beer around the barbecue. Chances are, what's on
the grill is a sacred cow.
