This rather realistic cartoon-adventure series,
which later ran successfully as a Saturday morning
children's show, spent one full season as a prime-time
entry. The hero was 11-year-old Jonny Quest, who
traveled the world with his scientist father, Dr. Benton
Quest, on various missions. With them were Roger
"Race" Bannon, their personal body bodyguard; Hadji, a
young Indian friend of Jonny's; and Bandit, the Quests'
miniture bulldog. The Saturday morning run spanned
thirteen years, all three networks, 1967-1980.
13 additional syndicated episodes where made in 1986.
