The format of I've Got a Secret was both simple and
durable. Four panelists took turns questioning the per-
son with the secret to determine what the secret was.
A nominal financial award was given to a contestant
whose secret could not be guessed by the panel.
Steve Allen returned to host the series again for one
season in 1972-1973. Bill Cullen was host for a four
week run of the series during the summer of 1976.
