123 Main Street, Washington, D.C., the headquarters of
C.O.N.T.R.O.L., an international spy organization
dedicated to destroying the diabolical objectives
of K.A.O.S., an international organization of evil,
led by their mastermind Siegfried and his assistant
Starker. Stories relate the investigations of two
C.O.N.T.R.O.L. agents: Maxwell Smart, Secret Agent 86,
a bumbling klutz; and his partner, Agent 99, a beautiful,
level-headed woman. This mismatched pair married during the
1968-1969 season. The agency was headed by "The Chief."
